Welcome to the Miami Parks and Public Spaces Master Plan Website!   Our city is growing—in population, in importance, and in diversity.  Miami’s parks and public spaces need to grow and change, too.  Miamians need high quality “green” spaces, exciting recreation opportunities, and safe, attractive, and accessible places where they can come together, play, or just take a break from the bustle of the city.  The Parks and Public Spaces Master Plan will set forth a new vision for Miami’s open spaces—parks, playgrounds and playing fields, plazas, streetscapes, and nature areas—along with an implementation strategy to make the vision a reality. We need to know what you think about the parks and public spaces in Miami today and in the future.  What are we doing well and what can be improved? The planning process includes public surveys, workshops and open houses in each NET Area, and a citywide forum.  This website was created to provide information about the parks and public spaces planning process.  Check back often, and let us know what you think about Miami’s public spaces.
